“American Pickers” is announcing that it will return to Ohio this June to film new episodes of the hit cable-television program. The programs are expected to air in the fall on History.

The documentary-style program explores the world of antique “picking.” Hosts Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz hunt for America’s most-valuable antiques and typically pursue sizable and unique collections. The hosts then share the stories behind the featured collections. “American Pickers” is broadcast on Mondays at 9 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.

“As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, Mike and Frank are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, the Pickers want to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items,” said representatives from Cineflix Productions. The New York-based company produces the program for History.

The Ohio visit will include a search for interesting antique collections in mid to late June. At press time, no locations have been scheduled or confirmed. “Things don’t really become more concrete for us until the very last minute when we are out picking. At this point we are just trying to let people know how to reach the show regarding their collections so we can learn more about them,” said Jessica Epstein of “American Pickers.”

“American Pickers” is currently looking for suggestions on “any large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the Pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through.”

People with interesting collections should send their name, phone number, location and a description of the collection (with photos) to:

or call 855-OLD-RUST.

“The pair hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life, while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way,” said Cineflix. “Mike and Frank have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before. They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them.”
