Austintown Local’s summer food program starts July 6 | Free meals will be made available to all children ages 1 to 18 at Austintown Elementary School.
The Austintown Local School District will again sponsor its Summer Food Service Program for Children. The program begins on Monday, July 6 and continues through Aug. 21.
Free meals will be made available to all children ages 1 to 18 at the Austintown Elementary School, located at 245 Idaho Road and the Lynn Kirk Loop.
Meal service will be available from 11 a.m.-noon, Monday through Thursday, from July 6 to Aug. 21. Hot lunches will be served and breakfast is also available in a grab-and-go style.
Parents are able to pick up meals for their students, if the children are unable to come. No adult meals are available at this time.
The district is encouraging that all meals to be taken to-go. Seating is reserved for students on campus for other obligations. Visitors should expect modifications to traditional meal service and should observe physical distancing and implement extra sanitary precautions.
