Charlie Staples Bar-B-Que has issued a voluntarily recall of its Charlie Staples Original and Hot BBQ 20-ounce sauces.
This recall has been initiated due to the sauces being produced without regulatory oversight. There have been no reports of illness involving these products.
Products were available for sale prior to March 20, 2020 at retail locations throughout Ohio.
The issue was discovered during a routine inspection conducted by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Anyone who purchased these products before March 20, 2020 should dispose of them or return them to the following address for a replacement or refund: Charlie Staples Bar-B-Que, 372 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, Ohio 44502
