The Columbiana Women’s Club, in conjunction with Green Thumb Garden Club and Firestone Park Cultural & Custodial Committee, will present “Lilacs Then & Now” on Thursday, May 2. Skip McCullough, owner of Meadowbrook Nursery in Lisbon, will lead the program.
Tickets are $25/person with lunch (served at noon) and $15/person program-only (12:30 p.m. start time).
The lecture/luncheon will occur at Idabelle Firestone’s Gathering Place & Garden, Harvey S. Firestone Recreational Park, 338 E. Park Ave., Columbiana.

- “Hydrangeas in the Landscape” with Ohio State University Extension (OSUE) educator Eric Barrett. Thursday, July 25.
- “Harvesting & Preserving” and “Careers in Gardening & Horticulture” with a panel of OSUE Master Gardeners and Volunteers. Thursday, Aug. 15.
- “Color in the Autumn Garden” with Keith Kaiser of the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. Saturday, Oct. 5.
