Cranberry Slices

Cranberry Slices | Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are golden.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup butter, softened
½ cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
2¼ cups flour
½ cup dried cranberries, chopped
6 tablespoons crystallized ginger, chopped
 
PREPARATION

Cream butter, sugar, egg yolk, salt and vanilla until light and fluffy.  Gradually add flour. Stir in cranberries and ginger.

Divide dough in half; form into 6×3 inch rolls. Wrap and refrigerate a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of two days.

Cut dough into ¼-inch slices. Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are golden.
