Nespor started working at the Youngstown State University Archives in January 2009. She has a bachelor’s degree in history from Dickinson College and a master’s degree in library science (with a focus in archival studies) from the University of Pittsburgh.

In 2014, Nespor created an exhibit on the medicinal history of alcohol for Cushwa Hall. Since then, she has written related blogs on the Melnick Medical Museum’s website.
