Diocese to offer an ’Evening of Reconciliation’ March 19 | The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available in parishes throughout the diocese.
Parishes throughout the Diocese of Youngstown will offer an “Evening of Reconciliation: The Light is on for You” on Wednesday, March 19.
While the Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated throughout the Lenten season and the entire year in local parishes, the Diocese of Youngstown has identified this event as a common date when the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available in parishes throughout the diocese.
Parishes may work together to offer the sacrament that evening either by scheduling a Lenten Communal Reconciliation Service or individual reconciliation.
Parishes will be celebrating “The Light is on for You: An Evening of Reconciliation” at various times. Many parishes are collaborating to provide multiple priests in one location.
