2022 Greater Youngstown Italian Fest. Central Square, downtown Youngstown 44503. 330-501-3171. Festival showcases Italian-American heritage and culture through music, food, vendors and Italian games. The festival includes Italian Fest Man and Woman of the Year presentations, Miss Italian Fest Pageant, a homemade wine contest, hot peppers in oil contest, the awarding of Italian Fest scholarships, a Sunday Mass and procession, a morra tournament and other activities. The festival also offers a beer and wine tent. The Greater Youngstown Italian Fest is hosted by the Italian Heritage Foundation of Youngstown, Inc. 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Aug. 5-7.

Wings-n-Wheels. Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport, 1453 Youngstown Kingsville Road, Vienna 44473. Wings-n-Wheels will include airplanes, vehicles, vendors, a trade show and items from the Ernie Hall Aviation Museum. Includes a fly-in and cruise-in. Proceeds benefit the Ernie Hall Aviation Museum, the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County and Northeast Ohio Adoption Services. 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Aug. 6-7. $10.

Lakewood Arts Festival. 14701 Detroit Ave., Lakewood 44107. The 45th annual Lakewood Arts Festival returns with a juried exhibition. Features over 100 artists, including painting, prints and works on paper, photography, ceramics, art glass, sculpture, fiber, wood and jewelry. Also includes food and live music. 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6.

Sweet Corn Festival at Countryside Farm. Countryside Farm Market, 4684 Center Road Lowellville 44436. 330-536-2178. This inaugural event heralds the arrival of the local sweet corn season in Ohio. The festival features a corn-shucking contest (11 a.m. and 1 p.m.), face painting, corn hole, vendors, food trucks and lots of corn.
