The Holborn Herb Growers Guild will host its annual Herb & Plant Sale on Saturday, May 11 at the Canfield Fairgrounds. Admission is free.
The sale occurs 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Vegetable Building. The entrance is located on state Route 46, Columbiana-Canfield Road, Gate 5 (across from the State Highway Patrol).
The event will feature a large selection of herbs and perennials, succulents and fairy garden plants. The sale also includes used gardening and herb books and cookbooks. Guild members will be on hand to assist with purchases and answer questions.
The sale occurs rain or shine. Only cash or checks will be accepted.
The guild was established in 1982 to educate members and the public about herbs. Since then, the guild has established public gardens at Western Reserve Village at the Canfield Fairgrounds and Boardman Park. In addition, Holborn has held numerous educational programs, sales and events.
