Mercy Health, Akron Children’s Hospital and the Trumbull County Health Department will host an Infant Health Fair on Saturday at the Eastwood Mall.
The event occurs 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, May 14 at Mercy Health – St. Joe’s at the Mall, located next to JCPenney.
The health fair will provide education and demonstrations on safe sleeping practices for infants, as well as other important infant health needs. The event also features raffles and giveaways that include car seats, pack-n-plays, strollers and gift cards. The day includes special entertainment for children.
In a prepared release, event sponsors noted, “As a community, we are committed to promoting safe sleep education to improve awareness of best safe-sleep practices and to reduce infant sleep-related deaths.”
The Eastwood Mall is located at 5555 Youngstown Warren Road in Niles in the Eastwood Mall complex.
