Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley will host a one-day Youth Market Day 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 30 at the Eastwood Mall.
The event, held in partnership with Eastwood Mall, features young entrepreneurs offering their products and services for sale. The mall is encouraging shoppers to visit and patronize the student businesses.
Customers will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite business and awards will be given in three categories:
- People Choice Award ($50 Eastwood Mall gift card, The Entrepreneur Game board and certificate. The winner will receive a kiosk rent free for a limited time).
- Best of Show-Most Creative ($50 Eastwood Mall gift card, The Entrepreneur Game board and certificate).
- Best Product-Most Original ($50 Eastwood Mall gift card, The Entrepreneur Game board and certificate).
Judging and prizes will be awarded at 2 p.m. in the Eastwood Mall Center Court. All youth entrepreneurs will receive a certificate for participation. Eastwood Mall is located at 5555 Youngstown Warren Road, Niles 44446.
