She also performs François Borne’s “Carmen” fantasy. Pianist Diane Yazvac accompanies Gilmore on piano. Premiere date: Dec. 12, 2020.

The Honors Recital Series features students from YSU’s Dana School of Music and is jointly produced by the the Dana School of Music, the McDonough Museum of Art and the Cliffe College of Creative Arts and Communication.

Editor’s note: During the COVID-19 pandemic, the creative community at Youngstown State University recorded virtual performances at various locations in and around campus. The series stands as a testament to how the university arts community responded during the COVID-19 lockdown. We’ve compiled the performances here.
