Hungarian Cookies Nut Crescents from Marjorie Mariner’s ‘Kitchen Corner’

INGREDIENTS

2 cups flour
½ cup sugar
½ pound butter
½ pound ground nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla

PREPARATION 

1. Cream sugar and butter.
2. Add flour slowly.
3. Add nuts and vanilla.
4. Roll out on floured board and cut into 2-inch squares.
5. Roll from the corner down and make into a crescent form.
6. Bake for 15 minutes in a 400°F oven.
7. Roll in powdered sugar.
