Dear Editor,
As a born-and-bred Ohioan, I’m extremely alarmed as more and more evidence comes out from the January 6 investigation, and I’m more and more alarmed at the partisan lies being told about what the commission is doing.
The committee is legitimate. It was formed the same way the committees to investigate Benghazi were created. Multiple courts have upheld this.
The evidence they are presenting is overwhelming. Donald Trump was told over and over again, by his closest advisers, that he lost the election. He refused to listen, and told lie after lie to the American people, that he won.
We need to listen to this evidence, and realize, we were lied to.
We need to protect our democracy. We need volunteers to assist in voter registration, and to monitor polling places to ensure everyone can vote who is eligible.
I call for anyone who cares about our country to go cmnca.us… and sign up to be an Election Protection volunteer – stand for democracy at polling places near you, to ensure accurate information is provided, and that people are given every opportunity to legally vote, and that no one who can legally vote is turned away.
