The Liberty Theater (Paramount) was located on the northeast corner of West Federal and North Hazel streets in downtown Youngstown.

Noted architect C. Howard Crane designed the neo-classical movie house. The Liberty Theater opened in 1918. The theater was demolished in 2013.

The Liberty/Paramount was one of dozens of movie houses in the Mahoning Valley during the golden age of Hollywood. Theaters ranged from luxurious downtown movie palaces to modest neighborhood venues.
