The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County will hold its annual Ladies in Little Black Dresses for Literacy Fundraiser 6 p.m., Thursday, June 6 at the Lake Club in Poland.
The event will benefit the Martha Muransky Children’s Literacy Fund.
Tickets are $65 and include appetizers, dinner and a glass of wine. A cash bar and raffles will also available. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased by check or by visiting here.
Attendees can bring a copy of a book by their favorite author to swap with other attendees. Participants can also donate gently used and brand-new children’s books.
Participating vendors and boutiques include Ivory & Birch, Suzanne’s, Blush, Wild Boutique and Lavish by Coral Rose. Music will be by J&J Jazz.
Event sponsors include The Muransky Companies, #1 Cochran, the Frank and Pearl E. Gelbman Charitable Trust – Foundation, the Sokolov Family and Phyllis Bacon.
