Mahoning Valley Cultural Alliance continues its “Stories of Mahoning Valley Immigrants series with a program on British migration to the area.

The event occurs 5 p.m., Monday, May 6 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield 44406. 

Dr. Peter Norris, professor of chemistry at Youngstown State University, will be the guest speaker. Norris was born and raised in England. Cultural enrichment will be offered by internationally acclaimed pianist Roman Rudnytsky.

The cost is $35 for Mahoning Valley Historical Society members and $40 for non-members. The program will include a meal will be provided by Western Reserve United Methodist Church caterers.

Reservations are required and can be made by calling 330-743-2589. The deadline to register is Wednesday, May 1.
