Mahoning Valley Sojourn to the Past has been selected as one of 200 organizations from across the country to advance to the next round of State Farm Neighborhood Assist® 2020. The top 40 applicants with the most votes will win a $25,000 grant from State Farm.
The State Farm grant would help fund Mahoning Valley Sojourn to the Past’s “Anti-Racism: Be A Difference Maker” workshop, which is dedicated to the memory of U.S. Rep. John Lewis.
Mahoning Valley Sojourn to the Past is requesting that the community support its efforts. Voting begins at 12:01 a.m. on Sept. 23 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 2. Everyone can vote 10 times per day.
