Youngstown State University’s Cliffe College of Creative Arts will host several information sessions for both incoming and already admitted students for fall semester 2021.

The YSU Department of Theatre and Dance is announcing the Third Annual Festival of New Works 7 p.m., Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7 at Spotlight Theater in Bliss Hall.

The festival is free and open to the public and no reservations are necessary.

The festival highlights student creativity in playwriting, choreography, designing, filmmaking, directing, and acting. It features short plays, films, musical theater and dance choreography, devised work, and puppetry.

Students are invited to audition for the festival. Over 20 were accepted for their creative work or directing ability. In addition, the Molly & Sam Galano Creativity Award will be presented to one of the accepted students.

Parking is available in the M30 Wick Avenue parking deck for a small fee. More information is available by calling the Office of Community Engagement and Events at 330-941-2307.
