The Soap Gallery will host an opening reception for “Random Visions” 6-9 p.m., Friday, March 6 at 117 S. Champion St., Youngstown 44503.
The exhibit is a collaboration between the Soap Gallery and Random Acts of Artists, a Sharon, Pa.-based nonprofit arts organization.
The juried exhibition features 61 local artists showing 146 pieces. The exhibit was juried by William Mullane, who will present six awards at the reception.
Random Acts of Artists operates the RAA Gallery & Art Emporium in Sharon. The organization’s Facebook page described its mission as “… promoting the arts, nurturing the artists and serving the community through open communication and mutual cooperation.” The organization was founded by Terry Polonsky and Linda Brink.
Light refreshments and beverages will be served.
