Grab a page with words on it and a marker. Cross out words, leaving behind the ones you like, and soon you’ll have a poem. Turn your poem in to a librarian at any branch. The Jewish Community Center is offering lifeguard training for ages 15 and older from April 29 to May 1. The class provides the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies until EMS personnel can take over. Participants will have the opportunity to acquire a lifeguard position at the Jewish Community Center upon successful completion of the training.
