The National Veterans Memorial and Museum will present its annual Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. today in the Great Hall in Columbus.
The program also will be livestreamed on the museum’s Facebook and YouTube channels where it will remain for future viewing.
The military ceremony honors the service and sacrifice of veterans and active-duty service members while remembering deceased military.
In collaboration with VetsAid organizers, special guest speakers during the Veterans Day ceremony include:
- Joe Walsh, Gold Star Family member, founder of VetsAid, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend (the James Gang and the Eagles);
- Drew Carey, U.S. Marine Corps veteran and host of “The Price is Right;”
- David Kim, U.S. Army (retired), “Military Times” Veteran of the Year, and CEO of the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
In-person seating for the Columbus ceremony is limited due to space considerations; free online tickets are required for in-person attendance.
