Junior Achievement Youth Market Day set for April 30 at Eastwood Mall 
Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley will host a one-day Youth Market Day 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 30 at the Eastwood Mall. (Junior Achievement)

JA Inspire Virtual, a college, career and trades conference for middle and high school students, is scheduled for 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 19. The event will use the vFairs event platform and will be available for parents and the public from 2-6 p.m.

The conference is a partnership between Junior Achievement and the Trumbull and Mahoning County Educational Service Centers.

Representatives from hundreds of businesses, colleges and trades are expected to participate. Students can gather information, gain access to higher education, internships, careers and employment.

Representatives will be on hand to answer key questions ranging from college-acceptance policies, job shadowing, internships, and employment. In addition, students will be able to schedule interviews, download literature and learn about the various financial aid programs available.
