The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley will serve free Thanksgiving meals from noon to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 26 at 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Youngstown. Meals will be served to Rescue Mission residents in the dining hall. Social distancing will be implemented with seating.
Due to Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s update on social-gathering guidelines, meals for the public will be carry out only. No reservations are required and free parking is available in a lot across from the resident building.
The Thanksgiving menu includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, green beans, and pie.
“We are so thankful to Our Lord for His protection and provision to us at the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley. And we are so grateful for our donors who by their generosity have allowed us to bless both our in-house guests as well as our public guests,” said Mike Byers, director of Food Services.
