Tips for eating healthy plant-based meals will be the focus of the webinar hosted by Penn State Extension from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7.
“A well-planned vegetarian meal pattern is a healthy way to meet your nutritional needs,” said Anna Schweichler, an educator with the extension food, families and health program team. “Unfortunately, many people do not eat nearly enough vegetables in their regular diets.”
Schweichler and educator Katherine French, both registered dietitians, will teach participants how to prepare easy plant-based meals and will answer questions.
