Saxophonist Noah Landry will perform a virtual recital for the next McDonough Museum Honors Recital Series premiering 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 24 on the McDonough Museum of Art and Cliffe College YouTube channels.
The series is a collaboration between the McDonough Museum of Art and the Dana School of Music where six students were selected as winners in the competition this semester.
Landry will perform music by Fernande Decruck, André Waignein and Paul Creston.
Landry is a junior saxophone performance major at Youngstown State University from Poland, Ohio. He has performed with the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and most recently competed in the NASA Competition this past spring as the tenor chair in the Helix Saxophone Quartet.
Landry also enjoys singing and playing piano. He has participated in a number of University Theater productions both on the stage and as a member of the pit orchestra.
