The Literary Society of the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County will present “A Virtual Evening with Adriana Trigiani” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29.
Registration is required for the free program and Zoom information will be sent to those who signup. Patrons are advised to register early as attendance is limited.
Although the program is free, donations are welcome. Individuals making donations of $20 or more will receive a Public Library mask.
Trigiani, a best-selling author, most recently directed the film “Then Came You,” which was digitally released Oct. 2, and stars Craig Ferguson, Kathie Lee Gifford and Elizabeth Hurley.
Trigiani’s novels include “Tony’s Wife,” “Kiss Carlo,” “All the Stars in Heaven,” “The Supreme Macaroni Company,” “The Shoemaker’s Wife,” and the “Big Stone Gap” novels.
The event is sponsored by The Muransky Companies, Carol E. Bacon Literary Society Fund, and the Frank & Pearl E. Gelbman Charitable Trust.
“The Literary Society is comprised of generous individuals who care deeply about the Library and would like to bring to our community special programs, including noted authors, to celebrate reading and literacy,” said Deborah Liptak, Library Development director.
