Secretary of State Frank LaRose will visit Trumbull County on Monday, Nov. 18 to recognize Zach Dean, owner of Clubhouse Brewing Company.
LaRose’s visit is as part of the office’s Ohio Business Spotlight program.
The Ohio Business Spotlight is a new initiative designed to highlight strong businesses that can serve as examples of Ohio’s economic potential. Each month, LaRose selects various businesses and recognizes successful entrepreneurs in the state.
“My great grandfather found his American dream in Ohio when his company filed to do business right here at the Secretary of State’s office,” said LaRose.
“It’s my goal to continue encouraging that dream, and highlighting Ohio’s success stories will go a long way towards providing the energy, insight, and inspiration entrepreneurs need as they start their business.”
This month, LaRose is featuring veteran-owned businesses.
Dean, who is a West Point graduate and Iraqi war veteran, founded Clubhouse Brewing Company in 2017. ‘
“It is not only our goal to make great beer out of the finest possible ingredients; This brewery dedicates itself to donating to veteran charities in different forms and seeking employment for vets,” Dean said.
“It’s great having Clubhouse Brewing Company as part of our community. People enjoy Zach’s passion for veteran issues as much as they enjoy the beer,” said Beth Kotwis Carmichael, director of Trumbull County Tourism Bureau.
