Northeast Ohio Adoption Services (NOAS) will stage an interactive murder mystery Saturday, March 9 at Youngstown Country Club. The program will occur from 6-10 p.m.
O’Malley’s Murder Mystery also features dinner, drinks, and an auction in support of NOAS’ foster family programs and services.
“NOAS’ goal has always been not to charge fees to families, as that would create a barrier to families willing to help foster youth within our community. As funding for foster parent recruitment programs and support decreases, our need for raising funds for our important work becomes more urgent,” said Cheryl Tarantino, executive director.
NOAS has provided support and connections to foster youth and their families since 1978.
As part of its mission, NOAS will host “Take a LEAP into Foster Care” on Thursday, Feb. 29 at 5000 E. Market St., Warren. This family-friendly, in-person event will provide information to anyone considering becoming a foster parent.
