Pet Clinic set for April 21 at Stambaugh Stadium Gymnasium
Licensed veterinarians will be on site to administer vaccines and do blood tests. Vaccines are limited to the first 250 pets. Payment is cash only. (Canstock)

The Marjorie Hartman Family Foundation Pet Clinic will occur 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Sunday, April 21 at Youngstown State University’s Stambaugh Stadium Gymnasium, 577 Fifth Ave., Youngstown 44502.

Licensed veterinarians will be on site to administer vaccines and do blood tests. Vaccines are limited to the first 250 pets. Vaccines will be available until they run out. For the safety of pets and volunteers, there is a limit of two pets per person. Payment is cash only.

The event will be hosted by the YSU Pre-Veterinary Society. Volunteers from Eastern Gateway Vet Tech and the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center’s (MCCTC) Animal Science program will assist. All pets must either be on a short leash or in a carrier.

The following vaccines and tests will be available:

  • Rabies vaccine, $5.
  • Bordetella, $15.
  • Dog combo: distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and lepto, $15.
  • Cat combo: rhinotracheitis, calici, panleukopenia, feline leukemia, $15.
  • Heartworm test, $10.
  • Fecal flotation, $5.
  • Microchip placement, $25.
  • HW/tick-borne disease, $25.
  • FeLV/FIV test, $25.
  • Nail trim, free.
