Pizza Joe’s has joined the pumpkin-spice craze with a new pumpkin spice Cinna-Stix available through December. In a special promotion benefiting area food banks, customers can get a free order with donations of non-perishable items beginning Sunday, Nov. 13.

Non-perishable donations will be given to various organizations in the counties served by Pizza Joe’s such as the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Second Harvest of the Mahoning Valley, and the Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County.

The regional pizza chain will be collecting non-perishable items at all locations in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. Customers donating five or more items will receive a free order of pumpkin spice Cinna-Stix with a purchase.

Some of the most-needed non-perishable items include canned vegetables, canned soups, peanut butter, canned tuna, rice, pasta, cereal, laundry detergent, dish soap, toothpaste, diapers, and toilet paper.

“During the season of giving we want to provide our customers an easy way to donate and gift them a sweet treat for their generosity,” said Katie Seminara-DeToro, Pizza Joe’s Corporate. “All of our locations will have a box out for donations from November 13 to November 30.”
