The Polish Arts Club of Youngstown will award four scholarships next month during their Scholarship Tea. Four deserving students will receive scholarships during the event.
The event occurs 1-3 p.m., Sunday, March 3 at the historic Butler North Annex, 562 Wick Ave., Youngstown 44502. Butler North is adjacent to the Butler Museum of American Art. Parking is available on site.
The Scholarship Tea will include a cultural program highlighting Polish music and poetry. Tea, coffee and a wide array of cookies will be served. The event is free and the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The Polish Arts Club was founded in 1935 and its mission has been to promote Polish culture, namely through the study of literature, music, drama and fine arts. Since its inception, thousands of scholarship dollars have been awarded to hundreds of area students.
