Villa Maria Farm. Villa Maria Road, Villa Maria, Pa. 16143. 724-964-8920. Features a greenhouse, produce market and the Villa Herb Garden. The greenhouse opened for public sales on May 5 and offers flowering hanging baskets and ferns, bedding flowers, patio pots and certified organic vegetable starts. 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday. The farm is typically open from late June through early November, depending on season. All produce is fresh-picked, seasonal, and naturally grown, utilizing organic methods and grown on the farm with nothing purchased wholesale or otherwise to supplement. Noon-5 p.m., Wednesdays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturdays. Villa Maria’s produce is certified organic by the Global Organic Alliance.
