St. John’s Episcopal Church cancels 2022 Boar’s Head Festival | The announcement was made today in a communications email from the church.
St. John’s Episcopal Church has canceled its 2022 Boar’s Head Festival, which was scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 9.
The announcement was made today in a communications email from the church.
“We have sadly made the difficult decision to cancel the Boar’s Head festival this year. With the current state of the coronavirus pandemic in Ohio, we are unable to proceed fully and safely. We pray for the health and well-being of all and look forward to welcoming you to celebrate the 60th Boar’s Head Festival with us next year,” said St. John’s in an email statement.
The annual festival marks the Feast of the Epiphany with readings, medieval-style music and pageantry.
St. John’s returns to its regular services at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 9.
St. John’s will contact those who have purchased tickets to issue refunds. For more information, call 330-743-3175 or email st********@gm***.com. St. John’s Episcopal Church is located at 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown 44503.
