Applications for the first round of Sustaining the Humanities through the American Rescue Plan grants program are now open.
Ohio Humanities SHARP grants provide emergency relief for Ohio nonprofits with a humanities mission that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic crisis.
Eligible projects may include humanities programming, general operating costs, strategic planning and pandemic recovery efforts, and digital or accessible program development.
To be eligible for an Ohio Humanities SHARP grant, applicants must be not-for-profit organizations with a public humanities mission located in the state of Ohio that have experienced financial hardship because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
