The Sutliff Museum has launched “Faces of Freedom,” a new digital series on YouTube that looks at figures in the abolitionist movement. The first video, which was released on June 30, covers Frederick Douglass, a national leader in the movement.

• Virtual lecture series – The Sutliff Museum will host the final program in its “Nurturing Pathways to Freedom” virtual lecture series at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 (via Zoom). Sasha Naiman, attorney and deputy director at the Ohio Justice & Policy Center, will present “Freedom from Human Trafficking.” The presentation will give an overview of how human trafficking occurs, who is impacted, and why survivors can face barriers in the criminal justice system.
• Museum app – The Sutliff Museum is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the Sutliff is virtually accessible through the Sutliff Museum app, which provides virtual access to tours and information on the Sutliff family, the Underground Railroad, Victorian design, and other topics. The app is available through Apple, Google Play, or via a smartphone.
