The Summit FM’s “330 Day Concert” returns to the Kent Stage on Saturday, March 30. Doors open at 6 p.m. with music starting at 7 p.m. The all-ages acoustic concert is free and open to the public.
The seventh-annual concert features Megan Bee, Hunter Skeens and the Forerunners, Angela Perley, Jack Harris, Munnycat, and an acoustic set from Red Wanting Blue.
Admission is free with a $10 suggested donation to the Jim Chenot Attitude for Gratitude Scholarship benefiting seniors in Akron Public Schools, and The Dennis Spisak Attitude for Gratitude Scholarship for college-bound students at Struthers City Schools.
Summit FM members will receive preferred seating for this event and can RSVP via an invitation-only event link. Tickets are available to the public at thesummit.fm.
Over a dozen regional artists will serve as hosts throughout the evening, paying tribute to the past, present, and future of local music. In addition, students from Akron Public Schools will showcase the next generation of musicians.
The Summit calls the event “a celebration of regional artists, music, and our community.”
The event is supported by the Ohio Arts Council, Huntington Bank, Ken Robinson, and Summit members throughout Ohio.
In 2015, the cities of Akron, Youngstown, and Canton officially designated March 30 as “330 Day” on behalf of The Summit FM and The330.net…, its local music-only radio station. This year, the “330 Day Concert” will spotlight the entire Buckeye State.
