United Way of Lawrence County has partnered with Columbia Gas for its “Share the Warmth” blanket drive. Collections of new blankets will occur through Nov. 30.

Community groups, businesses, and local schools in western Pennsylvania will collect and distribute new blankets to families facing higher utility bills and home-heating challenges.

The blankets will be sorted by Shenango High School students in December and distributed to Children’s Advocacy, Holy Redeemer Church, Arise, Cray Youth and Family Services, Salvation Army, People in Need, Catholic Charities, and the City Rescue Mission.
