The United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley is seeking volunteers to pack and deliver food during its ”Satur-Day of Caring” on Saturday, Aug. 15.

Volunteers will start packing food at 9 a.m. and deliveries begin at 10 a.m. The group meets in the parking lot next to 100 DeBartolo Place in Boardman, behind Southwoods Surgical Hospital.

Drivers will remain in their cars while volunteers pack food and assign routes. Drivers will then leave bags of food on the porches of pre-designated houses. Volunteers should reserve about two hours to make six to eight deliveries.
