The Mahoning County Career and Technical Center is announcing enrollment for incoming ninth and 10th grade students interested in applying to the Valley STEM + ME2 Academy for the 2021-2022 school year.
The academy is housed in a 7,500-square foot lab at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center Campus in Canfield. The program uses a rigorous curriculum, utilizing problem-based learning based on STEM principles.
The academy seeks to prepare students with the skills necessary to compete in the global economy, while nurturing discovery, invention, application and entrepreneurship. It has a STEM-designation from the Ohio Department of Education.
Valley STEM accepts students from throughout Mahoning County, but space is limited. Interested applicants should apply here.
