Voter registration drive set for Sept. 17 at Jewish Community Center
Participants will be able to register to vote and check their voter registration status. Absentee ballot request forms and polling site location information will be available.

The Jewish Community Relations Council and the League of Women Voters will hold a voter registration drive on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown. It occurs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participants will be able to register to vote and check their voter-registration status. Absentee ballot request forms and polling site location information will be available.

The event is part of National Voter Registration Day. Founded in 2012, the observance is designed to create an annual moment when the entire nation focuses on registering Americans to exercise their most basic right – the right to vote.
