As we approach the holiday season, I’ve put together many great wines for parties and gift giving – see my expanded chart below. In addition to regular store tastings, I also attended the recent Angels for Animals wine fundraiser at their facility. They featured many great wines and the food was fantastic.
On Nov. 16, I attended the Upstairs Restaurant’s annual holiday wine taste. They poured 40 fabulous wines from around the world. The Upstairs’ longtime chef Tim King prepared numerous dishes tailored to the wines, which complemented them perfectly.
