Torresella Pinot Grigio 2019. Characteristics: crisp acidity and bright citrus fruit flavors. Accompaniment: appetizers, light fare. Origin: Veneto, Italy. Retail: approximately $14.

Tinazzi Ca’ De’ Rocchi Ista Pinot Grigio 2019. Characteristics: fresh, elegant fruit flavors. Accompaniment: fish, chicken. Origin: Italy. Retail: approximately $12.

Desert Wind Chardonnay Wahluke Slope 2017. Characteristics: great fruit flavors with balanced acidity. Accompaniment: chicken, salmon. Origin: Washington. Retail: approximately $18.

Selby Sauvignon Blanc 2018. Characteristics: very aromatic with fresh fruit flavors, ideal for summer drinking. Accompaniment: cheese plate, fruit. Origin: Russian River Valley, Calif. Retail: approximately $20.

Carol Shelton Wild Thing Rendezvous Rose. Characteristics: Organically grown. Light cranberry color, juicy strawberry and watermelon flavors. Accompaniment: sushi, salmon, barbecue. Origin: Mendocino County, Calif. Retail: approximately $21.

Tapiz Alta Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2017. Characteristics: Lush chocolate and dark fruit flavors with herbs. Rich with berries and plums, plus a spicy finish. Accompaniment: steaks, pulled pork. Origin: Tupungato, Argentina. Retail: approximately $17.

Rubus Reserve Pinot Noir 2018. Characteristics: fruit-driven flavors of raspberries and cherries at an excellent value. Accompaniment: cheese plate, prime rib. Origin: Russian River Valley, Calif. Retail: approximately $20.

Desert Wind Ruah Wahluke Slope 2016. Characteristics: only 3,000 cases made of this Bordeaux-style blend. Accompaniment: roast beef, grilled chicken with black pepper. Origin: Washington. Retail: approximately $20.

Domus Vitae Unus Solus Red Blend 2016. Characteristics: Super Tuscan red blend of Cab, Merlot and Sangiovese at a great value. Accompaniment: pizza, pasta. Origin: Tuscany. Retail: approximately $18.

Treasure Hunter Satin Finish Napa Valley Merlot 2018. Characteristics: Rich with fresh dark fruit flavors. Great Merlot at a bargain price. Accompaniment: roast beef, barbecue. Origin: Napa Valley. Retail: approximately $22.
