The program also revisits other United States Poet Laureates who have been previous guests, including Billy Collins, Rita Dove, and Ted Kooser. Host John Birge is the morning host on Classical Minnesota Public Radio. He created “Giving Thanks” in 1999. 9 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 24.

“Every Good Thing.” Host Andrea Blain and classical music fans from around the country take time to give thanks and share music in an hour of stories and music. Blain was born and raised in the Midwest, but lived in Northern Ireland for 33 years, working as a freelance musician, teacher, and journalist. She joined the BBC in 1998 and worked in various capacities in the areas of classical music, religion, ethics, and current affairs. 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 24.
