YOUNGSTOWN, March 18 – The Youngstown Business Incubator has compiled a list of COVID-19 resources for businesses and the general community. The links seek to provide up-to-date information in a rapidly-changing situation.
YBI said that Ohio is currently not listed on the SBA Disaster site. The State of Ohio is in the process of applying the Economic Injury Disaster Loan package, and it’s expected that the Small Business Administration will need to review. YBI estimates that this could take up to 72 hours. Information regarding loan availability is expected come online toward the end of the week. See related media release.
YBI said that it’s important to understand that these will be loans, requiring repayment. Loan rates are expected to be low and may have extended terms to aid cash flow. As it gets additional information, YBI will make the information available through its email network.
The Incubator is requesting that individuals contact YBI with any questions regarding a business or startup idea. “We want to help you as best as we can during these times, regardless of the type of business you have. We are working closely with the entire Jumpstart Network of Entrepreneurial Resource Organizations, Minority Business Assistance Centers, and other resource partners as we monitor this COVID-19 situation,” said YBI representatives.
