Her topic will be “Local Voices, Global Reach: The Digital Transformation of News.” Collins, a native of West Middlesex, Pa., is a major market television news anchor with more than 2 million followers on social media. She will discuss her work as a weekend evening anchor and multimedia journalist at WFMJ between 2017 and 2020, her career path, how local news is adapting to different ways of news consumption and what to expect in the future.
