Pumpkin walks, special events

47th Boardman Rotary Oktoberfest. Boardman Township Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road, Boardman 44512. This one-day event features art, crafts and entertainment. In addition, the event offers food, and children’s entertainment. Oktoberfest is the Rotary Club of Boardman’s single largest fundraiser. 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 1. $5.

Pumpkin Walk at Twilight. Scrappers Trick of Treat. Quantities are limited and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone donating canned goods at the “Trick or Treat” event will receive a free general admission Scrappers ticket valid during the 2024 season. Canned goods will go to Feed Our Valley. The event is presented by Once Upon A Child – Niles and media partners 21 WFMJ and WBCB. 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25.
