Youngstown, April 23 – Youngstown State University’s 22nd annual Summer Festival of the Arts, originally scheduled for July 11 and 12, has been canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis.

“While it is never easy to cancel a long-standing event, this decision is prudent for the safety of all concerned,” said Phyllis M. Paul, dean of the Cliffe College of Creative Arts & Communication.

Potential plans for rescheduling this year, perhaps in fall, will be based on guidelines from Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and the university. Updates will be provided at the earliest possible opportunity.

Questions should be addressed to Lori Factor, director, Community Engagement & Events at YSU.
